Love Island is a British reality show ( hosted by Caroline Flack and narrated and voiced over by Iain Stirling ) which takes 12 participants to a gorgeous villa in Majorca and they couple up which each other and find out if any romance develops between these islanders, these islanders spend at least 6 to 7 weeks in the villa and make their way up to try and win the £50,000 cash prize.
However, it's not that easy because as they spend time in the villa these islanders go through challenges, heartbreaks and surprises. As this show develops islanders get dumped and new islanders come in and shake things up causing lots of rivalries between the islanders and new relationships form and some lead to something more than just couples in the villa. Every week votes are sent in by the public and they decide who they want to keep and who they want to drop from the villa. Sometimes these votes are for good reasons for example 'Who are the power couple in the villa', but sometimes islanders have to dump another fellow islander which can upset other participants in the show.
As the show ends a couple from the villa are crowned the winners of Love Island and win £50,000, but only one person out of the couple gets to decide if this is for money or for love. 'Money' means that they keep the money all to themselves and the other person gets nothing and 'Love' means that they'd decide to share the money between them. This means that both of them get £25,000 each and use the money to their own use, luckily it normally ends up that one of them chooses love instead of money leaving everyone happy.
